MY POSING TIPS
Keep your clothing classic and not too trendy
Be sure your outfit is the right fit... not too big or too tight.
Stay away from distracting patterns, bold colours, shiny fabric, or logos. Bright colours can bounce off your skin tone.
WARDROBE
If you are getting your hair cut or coloured, it is best to do it about a week before your session. It isn’t recommended to make any changes (outside of styling) the day of or before your booking. Fresh cuts can be a tad short on men and fresh colour is better after a couple washes. Don’t decide to cut or colour your hair differently than how you would normally.
Your headshots should look like YOU.
HAIR
Less is More. Steer away from large jewelry that draws attention away from you. Hoops and dangling earrings can interfere with your hair and get lost in your portrait.
JEWELLRY
Make sure nails are manicured, or freshly clean and cut. If wearing polish, it is best to stay neutral.
